Perchy on Kick
Chat, moderation, rewards and events work through Kick's official API. Kick has no polls, clips, shoutouts or chat modes in it yet, so Perchy says so and runs what it can in chat itself.

What Perchy can do
What works on Kick, and what does not.
Every row is read from the same table the bot uses, so the site cannot promise more than the bot can do.

Getting set up
Three steps to connect.
It takes a couple of minutes, and you can switch features on one at a time.
- 1
Connect your channel
You allow Perchy to read your channel and receive its events. Kick sends them to Perchy as signed messages, which Perchy checks before using.
- 2
Perchy speaks through an account
Kick sends chat messages as a normal account, so replies come from the account Perchy is connected to. To moderate, that account must be a moderator: type /mod in your chat.
- 3
Expect honest limits
Kick's API is young and changes often. When something is missing, the dashboard says so and offers the Perchy version.
Limits
Numbers worth knowing.
These come from the platform's own documentation, not from us.
- Messages up to 500 characters and 2,048 bytes.
- Timeouts run from 1 minute to 7 days.
- Until Kick verifies Perchy, it can read the chat of up to 1,000 channels in total.
- Kick does not publish its rate limits.
What Perchy does instead
- Native polls. Runs the poll in chat and counts votes itself.
- Native predictions. Runs seed predictions in chat.
- Clips. Marks the moment and saves the VOD link.
- Shoutouts. Posts a normal chat message.
- Announcements. Uses a normal chat message.
